Don’t miss out on earning CEC points during the next Energy Code Enforcement Training in Binghamton on April 17, 2024.
Under the Clean Energy Communities Round 3.0, you will now earn 300 points when your code enforcement officers stay up to date by attending an Energy Code Enforcement Training.
This is an increase over the previous round, which awarded 200 points for attending a training, and helps you earn enough points to qualify for grants faster than before.
When one or more code officials complete a NYSERDA-approved Clean Energy Communities Energy Code Enforcement Training, your municipality will be eligible to receive 300 CEC points. More information on how to earn those points here.
Municipalities are only able to receive CEC credit for this action once.
Newport Ventures is proud to work with NYSERDA to offer Residential and Commercial Energy Code Courses that focus on plan review and compliance.
This day-long course carries 8 hours of NYSDOS In-Service Learning Credits.
